1.   Plot the change in gibbsite (Al(OH)₃) solubility with pH. Use PhreeqC for Windows to obtain values. See example 8.1 in your text (Appelo and Postma) for equilibrating water with mineral phases. At what pH is gibbsite the least soluble? At what pH does the solubility of Gibbsite surpass the drinking water limit (0.2 mg Al/L)?
